Our Sweet Bella is 18 Months!

Our sweet Bella is 18 months old today!

If I picture is worth a thousand words, this picture says it all about the life of our Bella Bella right now. 18 months going on 8 years!  Our Bella has been full of energy and personality since she was in my belly! It is such a joy to watch her grow.  I love seeing glimpses of the world through her eyes. I love how she can almost hyper-ventilate with excitement over things like bubbles or a passing airplane. 

She is now weighing in at 20 lbs and something oz. (an accurate reading of ounces would require her to hold still much long than it seems possible). And every bit of her full of energy. She is fun fun fun.  She loves to run, dance, spin and climb. She is still our social butterfly. Bella loves being in the middle of it all and making new friends. She also has such a sweet heart. She loves to share her toys and snacks. She watches everything so closely and mimics everything she sees. We are  impressed all the time by what she notices, understands, and comprehends. Bella understands both English and Chinese now, although she only speaks a few words of each language. She is such a jabber mouth though and loves to have conversations in "Bella speak". One day I heard someone ask her, "Bella, thats not English or Chinese, who understands you?" She gave a sassy look and didn't hesitate to reply,"Dad-dy doesth"
